RCBC Scholarship Donation

On the 3rd of December, 2007, Rotary Club of Beirut Cosmopolitan, contributed a scholarship donation towards the tuition fees of ten needy students at the Ecole St. Charles Daughters of Charity.

The school is run by nuns whose mission is to help the needy and the poor. Out of the 756 students who attend, 534 are offered a free lunch meal every day and another 100 are orphans who feed and board at the school. In addition to this, the school offers a free lunch for 60 senior citizens three times a week.
