Sponsored by Rotary Club de Beyrouth, RCBC received its charter
from The Rotary Foundation International on June 21, 1995. RCBC

covers  the  Greater Beirut area. As a cosmopolitan club, RCBC
adopted English as its official language
in order to accommodate
non-Arabic speaking expatriates and

With 25 charter members at  inception, RCBC now has some 43

active men and women dedicated to "Service above Self" and
community support. Arising from the deep concern of its members
since inception about the traumatic effects of a 15-year civil war on
the Lebanese population, our Club adopted "The Reconstruction of
Human Beings"as its motto.

As a result, RCBC service projects have
been dedicated to community
support in fields such as child education,
elderly support,and donations
to reduce the financial burden of medical
treatment. RCBC continues
to contribute to improving the quality of life
of the Lebanese
population through vocational service projects aimed
at increasing
national wealth through higher productivity. Our vision
statement reads:
"Enhanced quality of life for all in our community"
