Rotary Beirut Cosmopolitan organized this initiative during these difficult times marked by crisis, sorrow, and displacement affecting many families, with the valued participation of Rotaract Beirut Cosmopolitan, who joined us in the distribution activities.
Through the collective efforts of the Rotary Club Beirut Cosmopolitan and its members, a total of $2,000 was raised.
From this amount, $1,000 was allocated to organize an Iftar for 40 children, during which hoodies and sweet bags were also distributed, bringing comfort and smiles to their faces.
The hoodies and sweet packages were delivered today in the presence of P. Olga Feghali and Rotarian Lucie Sassine from the Rotary Club of Beirut Cosmopolitan, as well as President Patil Harmandayan, President of Rotaract Beirut Cosmopolitan. The gifts were then taken to the children at their place of residence.
The remaining $1,000 was donated to the Children’s Cancer Center of Lebanon (CCCL) in support of children battling serious illnesses.
This initiative reflects a heartfelt expression of solidarity, compassion, and commitment to supporting those who need it most.
