A Wonderful Rotary Fellowship in the Heart of Ghazir
Last Sunday, thanks to the excellent organization of the Rotary Club Kesrouan Lebanon, in co-hosting with the Rotary Club Beirut Cosmopolitan, we enjoyed a truly memorable day of fellowship, discovery, and connection.
The trail through the beautiful valley of Ghazir was simply magnificent. Along the riverbanks, shaded paths, and natural water springs, we explored hidden treasures of our heritage, including remains of homes and village groups dating back to the First World War. These discoveries were both moving and impressive, reminding us of the resilience of our people, the richness of our history, and our deep attachment to the land of Lebanon.
What made this experience even more special was the diversity of participants: P Koura Rabab Razzouk, PP Kesrouan Naji Audi, P Kesrouan Adham Khoury, PE Kesrouan Nathalie Tamer and her beautiful children, young adults, and senior members walking side by side, sharing stories, laughter, and unforgettable moments. It was a beautiful reflection of Rotary’s spirit of fellowship, inclusion, friendship, and unity.
The day concluded with a delightful lunch, where we raised our glasses to Rotary, to friendship, to peace, and to the values that unite us across generations and communities. The atmosphere was filled with warmth, camaraderie, and gratitude.
Our heartfelt thanks go to PP Naji Audi and President Adham Khoury for their outstanding organization, hospitality, and dedication. Through initiatives such as this, they remind us that Rotary is not only about service, but also about building meaningful connections, strengthening communities, honoring our roots, and celebrating the values that bring us together.
A truly unforgettable day, rich in fellowship, patriotism, heritage, and Rotary spirit.
