Wheelchairs to Gaza

Rotary Club of Beirut Cosmopolitan offers 20 wheelchairs to the children of Gaza on February 27th, 2009

The Rotary Club of Beirut Cosmopolitan has donated 20 wheelchairs to the children in Gaza through the Palestinian Red Crescent Society in Lebanon who will arrange for their transportation and distribution to the war victims in Gaza.

The handing-over ceremony took place on February 27th 2009 in the presence of Dr. Awni and several staff of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society. RCBC was represented in the ceremony by Past President Tony Asfour, H.S. Lina Shair, Rotarians Habib Saba and Hussam Rinno.

This is one of many humanitarian projects that RC Beirut Cosmopolitan provides.........
