Some evenings leave a lasting impression, not because of their grandeur, but because of their authenticity.
The Rotary Club of Metn Gate offered exactly that during its beautiful Handover Ceremony at Bhersaf .
Held in the enchanting setting of a charming traditional Lebanese home, surrounded by a magnificent garden, the evening felt like gathering around a family table, where warmth, friendship, and genuine Rotary fellowship were present in every moment.
Everything reflected the finest Rotary traditions: impeccable respect for protocol, heartfelt hospitality, meaningful speeches delivered from the heart, and a wonderful atmosphere of unity, simplicity, and kindness. The evening beautifully demonstrated that elegance lies not in extravagance, but in sincerity and genuine human connection.
My heartfelt congratulations to the outgoing President Sami Seaifan for a remarkable year of dedicated service, meaningful achievements, and exemplary leadership. My warmest wishes go to President Ghenwa Haddad and her Board as they begin the 2026–2027 Rotary year. May it be filled with inspiring projects, strong fellowship, and lasting impact in our communities.
It was also a great pleasure to share this memorable evening with our District Governor, May Mounla Chmaitily, whose constant presence, together with her husband Mohamad, reflects her unwavering commitment to supporting every club with kindness, encouragement, and inspiring leadership.
The delicious homemade Lebanese cuisine, the gracious hospitality, the joyful conversations, and the heartfelt presentation of recognitions made the evening truly unforgettable. Every detail reflected generosity, authenticity, and the beautiful spirit that makes Rotary a family.
Congratulations once again to the Rotary Club of Metn Gate for such a wonderful celebration. Wishing President Ghenwa Haddad, her Board, and all club members a Rotary year filled with friendship, service, success, and the opportunity to create a lasting impact.
